Fifteen unstructured minutes
Make something with no outcome in mind and no one to show. Drawing, cooking, rearranging a shelf. Creativity needs somewhere useless to go.

Svadhisthana · “I feel”
Feeling moves like water, and the sacral centre is where that movement lives. It governs pleasure, creativity, and your capacity to be changed by what happens to you.
The sacral is the centre of flow — emotional, creative, sensory. It is concerned less with what you feel than with whether feeling is allowed to move through you or gets held.
It also holds your relationship with pleasure, which many people have quietly filed under "later". Enjoyment is not a reward for finishing everything else; it is part of how the body regulates itself.
Emotion arrives, is felt, and passes. You make things without needing them to be good. Rest happens without negotiation. You notice what you actually like.
Feelings that seem to arrive either flattened or overwhelming, with little in between. Creative time quietly disappearing from the week. Guilt attached to rest or enjoyment. Tightness through the hips and lower belly. A sense of going through the motions.
Long stretches of duty without much softness will do this. So will suppressing something you have not had the room to feel.
Give feeling somewhere useless to go. Fifteen unstructured minutes making something with no outcome and no audience. Water — a long bath, swimming, standing in rain. Music you can move to rather than analyse.
Affirmation
I let myself feel what I feel, and enjoy what I enjoy.
Warm orange and terracotta. Sweet orange, ylang ylang, jasmine. Carnelian, moonstone, orange calcite. Anything involving water, warmth, or your hands.
This guide uses a commonly used seven-chakra model as a starting point for personal reflection. Chakra teachings belong to spiritual traditions of yoga and Hindu practice; the number of centres and their associations vary between teachings. Colours, themes, and practices here are a simplified guide rather than a universal account of those traditions.
For a yogic teaching perspective, explore the Himalayan Institute’sChakras: Back to Basicsseries. For a Hindu teaching that describes a wider system of fourteen centres, read Himalayan Academy’sThe Chakras. These offer spiritual context; our everyday reflection prompts are editorial suggestions, not quotations from those sources or a way to diagnose an imbalance.

Say plainly what you feel, out loud, without explaining or justifying it. "I feel disappointed." Then let the sentence end.
A bath or long shower with a few drops of sweet orange or ylang ylang. Warmth and scent reach the body faster than reasoning does.
